S355JR+N plates and sheets are high-strength structural steel with low carbon content, good weldability, and impact resistance. They have a chemical composition of Carbon (≤ 0.24%), Manganese (≤ 1.60%), Silicon (≤ 0.55%), Phosphorus (≤ 0.035%), and Sulfur (≤ 0.035%), which provides better strength and durability.The mechanical properties include a minimum yield strength of 355 MPa, tensile strength of 470-630 MPa, and elongation of 22%. With a Charpy V-notch impact of 27J at 20°C, S355JR+N steel is ideally suited for structural and engineering applications requiring greater toughness and reliability.
